In the future, art is digital. Painter Guy, a father of three living in 2044, enrolls in a course called “Digital Composing: How to Make Digital Art” to improve his skills. Guy is at the age when his art is not recognized as fierce. He has yet to be accepted into the museum of modern art because all his paintings are done with paintbrush, paint and canvas. Guy enters this course fully expecting to learn something new that will reignite his passion for painting. Maybe he would even try digital painting as an experiment? To his surprise, the class’s curriculum had nothing about how to paint something digitally; it was about how to improve your digital painting process. The course did what it was meant to do and rejuvenated Guy’s passion for painting. But now he must face a new challenge—how will the world view his work if he does not use a brush?
