In this story, “元宇宙技術” is a new internet protocol that has the potential to change the way we access the web. 承 and 信 are two web app developers who have invented this new technology. 承 is a Taiwanese-Canadian programmer and 信 is a Latvian-Taiwanese mathematician, who trained together in Beijing. They both moved to Canada and now they are pursuing their educational goals while working on this new technology. This new internet protocol is powered by NFTs (named final tokens) and it prides itself on being decentralized, secure, and democratic. It is built to revolutionize how we access the web by creating a more open network that can't be bought or owned by any one entity or person. Instead, it depends on everyone using the same protocol for generating virtual spaces that can be monetized by adding value to other users' lives outside of advertising
